Rockwood played Harriman for the 100th time Friday at Wallace-Black Field and came away with a 29-0 victory in a 2 1/2 hour game to improve to 2-4 on the season. Harriman fell to 1-5.

The Tigers played without Coach John Webb who was suspended for the game for being ejected during the loss to Meigs County and used a strong defense to blank the Blue Devils. Rockwood blocked one punt for a safey, recovered a punt from a second blocked punt for a touchdown and converted another fumble into a touchdown, holding the Blue Devils to 100-yards rushing on 30 carries and two yards passing on 3-of-15 tosses with two interceptions.

Senior Nate Brackett returned the opening kickoff to Tiger 34-yard line. Octavious Worthy opened the drive with four carries for 23 yards. After a 14-yard pass from Brackett to Dakota Waldo for a first down and 3-yard gain by Waldo, Braackett was stopped for minus nine yards on two carries and four penalties for 40 yards. Harriman was penalized 15 yards after a nine-yard pass from Brackett to Waldo, but the Tigers stopped on downs.

The Blue Devils were stopped on downs, forcing a punt, which was blocked by Jayden Hannibal for a safety and a 2-0 lead. Rockwood took the free kick, but the drive stalled. Brackett's punt put the Blue Devils at their 20-yard line; however, Brackett picked off a Harriman pass, but, again, the drive stalled, forcing another punt with seconds left in the first quarter.

Michaiah Story and Gaskins helped the Tiger defense stop the Blue Devils on down at the Harriman 49-yard line. There were several possession changes during the second quarter. The Tigers scored on their final possession to take a 9-0 lead on Brackett's 54 pass to Xadrian Fickey and Ben Woodall's first PAT.

The Tigers rushed for 49 yards and passed for 77 yards on 3-on-9 passes, while holding Harriam4 to 43 yards rushing and zerio yards passing. Harriman took the second half kick and moved the ball to their 45-yard line before punting.

The Tigers used the running of Worthy, Waldo, Hannibal and Jack Alexander to take a 16-0 lead on Worthy's 6-yard run and Woodall's second PAT. The drive was helped by two Harriman penalties. Harriman took the ensuing kick at their 20, but Woodall sacked quarterback Bradley Frost for an 18-yard loss which kept the Blue Devils deep into their territory as the third quarter ended.

Levi Hensley's punt hit a teammate and was recovered by Michaiah Storey for a touchdown. Woodall gave the Tigers a 23-0 lead. Harriman took the ensuing kick with Kylann Love took over at quarterback, who completed two passes for nine yards; however, the Blue Devils picked up five yards on two carries and tossed three incompletions to force a punt.

The Tigers took over went the running of Worthy to take a 29-0 lead on Worthy's 25-yard run. The PAT was no good. Harriman used the running of Travis Frazier to move the ball into Tiger territory, but Fickey picked off Taydarius Boyd to seal the victory.
